Los Angeles’ No Trespassing Form

If you’re serious about protecting your property from trespassers, you must not only post “No Trespassing” signs in conspicuous locations on your property, but you need to file a “No Trespass Form” annually with the Los Angeles Police Department. A “No Trespassing” sign should state the following:

THIS PROPERTY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. No Entry Without Permission

In the City of Los Angeles, you should also add the municipal code of LAMC Sec 41.24.

You can download the No Trespass Authorization Form (here). Fill out the form and return it to your local LAPD station.

By submitting this form each year, you assist the LAPD in making an arrest of a trespasser on your property.
